It was at Montreal Olympic Games 1976 that she scored one of the most unforgettable sporting moments of all time - the score of the very first perfect 10 on the bars that were asymmetrical. In the following years, she was able to score another perfect 10 and became the most youthful Olympic all-around gold medalist, at only 14. The accomplishment of Nadia Comaneci was not only to get international attention, but she also helped put Romania on the map. The sporting icon made her a world-wide sensation after she achieved an impossible scoring. The legend she created was legendary as well as helped make gymnastics a popular sport all over the world.
