Kristen Anne Bell was born in the year 1980. She is a singer/actress from the USA. Her birthplace and childhood was in Huntington Woods, Michigan, and is the daughter of Lorelei (Frygier) and is a nurse as well as Tom Bell, a television news director. Her family ancestry includes Polish (mother) as well as German, English, Irish and Scottish (father). Kristen was able to show a flair in the performing arts from an early age on stage. She was able to land her first acting role in the auditions for Raggedy Ann & Andy. Bell, who was 13 at the time her mother enrolled as an agent was cast on ads on newspapers and TV. Also, Bell began taking classes in acting privately. Bell made an appearance as a guest in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998, as an uncredited actress. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School and was in the band and drama clubs. Bell was cast as Dorothy in the school production of The Wizard of Oz. Bell went on to study musical theatre at the highly regarded Tisch School of the Arts located in New York City after graduating. Bell was a graduate in 2001, decided to leave her college studies in order to take on the role Becky as Becky in Tom Sawyer. That same year, she was in Pootie Tang However, the scene where she played the role was removed. As a result, the credit sequence is all that exists. Bell made her debut in 2002. Bell appeared as a character in the Broadway version of The Crucible with Liam Neeson and Angela Bettis.
