Belknap was born in Damariscotta Maine. Parents include David and Louise Belknap. She studied at Lincoln Academy, Newcastle Maine. When she was at Middlebury College in Vermont she began to develop an interest in performing. It was at this point that the American Conservatory Theater awarded her an MA in Fine Arts. Belknap's television credits include series regular appearances in Medical Investigation (related to ER and Third Watch) and The Handler and a frequent role in Deadline as well as guest-starring roles on Law & Order Law & Special Victims Unit as well as Without a Trace. Belknap played on the screen in Alchemy. Her feature film debut was in The Reality Trap. Anna Camp was born in South Carolina, and she is the child of Dee Camp. Anna graduated with a diploma in arts from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, which she earned in 2004.
